QMI products do not contain harmful additives such as chlorine, or other potentially harmful components. QMI PTFE Treatments are metal treatments, and not "Slick Oils".A filtering test was performed by the same test facility on QMI engine treatment for filtering purposes. The test utilized a 0.8 micron filter membrane, while typical automotive oil filters utilize 10 to 40 micron filter membranes. The report concludes: "There were no problems in filtering this material." This test also demonstrates that QMI will not block oil passages and oil pump screen openings.
